Canon Power(s): Nemu, being artificially created, is able to withstand injuries, as fatal as it they can be, and is still found standing and breathing. Her zanpakuto is unknown.

Modified Power: Her body has the ability to withstand and endure an unimaginable amount of pain and the ability to recover at a third of a rate faster than than the average person. Although she cannot heal instantly, she can endure the immense amount of pain inflicted upon her, making her hard to kill over time. If she was ever to come across an injury at a critical area, chances of her surviving is higher than the normal person; but the possibility of losing her life remains. She has taken to hand to hand combat, figuring it is her fate to use her body as a weapon, even if she doesn’t want to.

History:
Growing up, Nemu never really experience what it is meant be part of the family or even understood the real meaning of it. The ‘family’ she grew up in, her father, the head of the household and also a full-time scientist, devoted more time to his research than his family. Being raised under a strict, authoritarian environment, and sometimes subjugated to physical abuse, led to her development of her melancholic and introverted nature. It also hindered her ability to socially interact with her peers at a normal level and understanding references and popular culture. She constantly followed the rules; remain obedient at her father's side, aiming to please him in everything - whether through household chores or through academic achievements. Regardless of how great her achievements were, she received more criticism than praise from him.

One day when Nemu was around the age of 16, her life changed; her relationship with her family reached a new level, with an outcome completely surprising her. For reasons she was unsure of, she seemed to have anger her father greatly. As a result, he threw her out of the house, along with her belongings. He told her to leave and never to return. All she did was gathered her belongings and executed his final command for her. Feeling lost and confused, Nemu didn’t know what to do or where to turn as she wanders aimlessly away from her home. Being absorbed by her own thoughts and worries, she became oblivious to her surroundings. By the time she came back to reality, a car was coming in her direction. She collided with the car and was sent to the hospital.

Nemu had surprised the doctors by showing mobility of her body and her faint response to the pain and damage she has received from the collision. Her recovery rate even exceeded their expectations. To Nemu, she merely thought it was the tolerance she has developed against pain from the treatments she has received over the years. One of the doctors, affiliated with Shinra, took some blood samples from her and found she was indeed a Syn. Her powers - most likely advance healing and high endurance against pain. The doctor explained that she was a Syn and noting her apprearance and possiblity she might be a runaway, he told her about New Amsterdam, and the places that could help people like her. More importantly, shelter was free. Nemu, having no where else to go, accepted the offer.

After shortly joining Shinra, it was strongly advise that she should take up some self-defense classes for her own personal safety in this semi-dangerous city. With her obedient nature, Nemu concurred without hesitation, specializing in hand-to-hand combat.
